I had a riot at Brash And Sassy’s No Milk For You single launch on Saturday night. They premiered their new live band and this video, before I spun some italo-disco and ancient cheese-pop tunes on the deck. I recorded the mix from the night and I’ll be posting it in January, but in the meantime, you should check out their new clip (above). I always forget how much fun DJ’ing is; it’s a completely different thrill from playing live. When people start dancing, I feed off their energy and get totally psyched up. I’m going to have to do it a lot more.

My remix of the single appears as track four, which you’ll be able to buy from iTunes on December 18th (Friday; check back here for a link then). It’s been getting a great reaction from people who have heard it. It and I have been called “genius” multiple times following listening sessions, though those compliments may have been emotionally blackmailed out of people.
