Alec Empire, who you might know as that guy from Atari Teenage Riot, has just put out a new single from his quietly released mini album Shivers. It sounds a bit like a droney Velvet Underground song if there was a moog player making a whole stack of noise around Heroin or something. It’s great.

This is a pretty good opportunity to post an Atari Teenage Riot video as well, don’t you think? This is a video of them performing at a riot in Berlin in 1999 and it couldn’t be a starker contrast with his new release (or with Lady Gaga below it for that matter).
