Holy shit. Watching the new Lady Gaga clip for the first time, it almost has that same, alien-feeling, “this can’t possibly be a hit but it has to be” sensation that I’ve felt watching what have gone on to be absolutely massive pop songs like Kylie’s Can’t Get You Out Of My Head or U2’s The Fly.

Posting chilled out music on a sunday seems to be becoming a bit of a thing around here. I’m OK with that. This is one of my favourite downtempo tracks from a few years ago by Saint Etienne. I’ve tried to get into their other material, but it’s a bit twee for me.
I’m going to crank this up and take some painkillers.
